About Me

Richard Hunter joined the Sherman Office of Ebby Halliday Realtors in 2015. “I am a former Texas Professional Home Inspector with 4,700 inspections. I now help my neighbors with the entire process of buying and selling homes.”

My professional background offers home buyers and sellers an agent who possesses an exceptional ability to understand and interpret the functionality of a home combined with extensive knowledge of Texomaland.

My family has called Texomaland home for over 160 years. My wife Janet and I have been married for 43 years and have lived in Denison for the past 36 years. We enjoy discovering new places to kayak and new restaurants.

I have been involved in community service in the area.  It has been my privilege to be a volunteer teacher at Choice Moore Prison in Bonham for over 19 years.  I teach a faith-based life-skills class that covers a wide range of topics. I am also a volunteer at Grayson County Jail ministry and Four Rivers Outreach in Sherman. The classes I teach are designed to help men as they transition back to their families and into society.

I take pride in offering clients a sincere focus on trust, integrity and hard work combined with the expertise necessary to successfully complete real estate transactions in this age of technology.

I am a full-time Realtor and achieved the Ebby Diamond Plateau in 2018. I hold SRES and GRI designations. I am a proud member of the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
